KoalaSafe worked pretty well for us until it got fried during a recent power outage. I bought a used one from Amazon as the replacement. However, just can’t seem to be able to setup the new unit. After pairing from the re-run Welcome Wizard, I got KoalaSafe not found error. I contacted customer support, and they unpaired my old Koala unit. However, still getting the KoalaSafe not found error.
I connected to my router from my PC using Ethernet cable, and can see that the router shows the Koala unit being active. But still getting the KoalaSafe not found error in the app and run the Diagnostics shows the status as Disconnected.
Does anyone know what’s going on? Does it have anything to do with the replacement unit being a used one?
