Same problem here in Quebec City, Canada. Tried to reboot the device but it did not solve the issue.
Better notifications are definitely a must. @adam, I suggest adding an in-app notification to let users know ASAP when an issue is detected.
Also, it would be nice to allow parents to bypass the filtering service when there’s an issue. Sure, the device would act as a simple access point, but at least it would make it possible to acces the internet during that period.
