Frequent disconnect/freeze requiring power cycle

I’m seeing an issue where my Dome seems to disconnect and freeze overnight.

Reconnecting it is a pain too, if I just power cycle it, it just sits with the one/first/power light lit forever. This is also the state I find it in when it’s not working. My understanding was that this indicates that it is updating, but even if I leave it overnight it never progresses.

Instead, I found that if I unplug the Ethernet cable, plug in the power, wait for the dancing lights, and then finally plug in the network cable it works again until the next day.

What’s the deal? Is there some kind of bad update that it keeps attempting overnight? Is there something wrong with my device?

The main router it’s connected to has no downtime at all, none of the wired or wireless devices have any problems.
